Production house to spend lakhs of rupees to 'remove' Sanjay Dutt's tattoos from his next film

Sanjay Dutt is one of the many Hindi film actors who have impressive tattoos inked to their body parts. However, the production house of his next film literally has to pay to 'remove' the tats off his body.

A source says, `Sanjay has tattoos almost everywhere on his body. Since he has a couple of films right now on the floor, it would take too much time to hide them with make-up.

And since his character in his next film, co-starring Kangna Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi, is not really the tattoo-type, they need to take taken off with the help of special effects.

The source adds, `Being an action thriller, the film would require a lot of body-baring and tearing off of shirts. Even in Agneepath, his tats were carefully deleted.`

A unit member says, `Given the number of tattoos Sanjay has, the cost to clear them will be around Rs 50 lakh.` After all, who says stars come cheap?
