A birdie chirps to say that Shah Rukh Khan called for a meeting recently to chalk out the plan for the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League
His brief was that if his bete noir Salman Khan could make the cricket tourney he endorses into a starry gala, IPL (which is bigger) could be topnotch with big stars.
While Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have already been roped in for the IPL opening ceremony in Kolkata, there is buzz that the internationally well-known DJ Tiesto will be performing at the ceremony.
The DJ will be in India around that time for his concerts. Plans are also on to rope in another big international artiste to perform as well.
