Friendship was the basis of his debut film Kai Po Che. And Amit Sadh, who made the audience sit up and take notice with his role, says that friends are everything to him, and he is incomplete without them.

In a candid chat with CS, he shares his thoughts about friendship and romance:

Beyond love
I would love to gift the world to my girl. I will give her my heart, time, love. I have had some really wonderful women in my life. When you gift your girl something, it's not because she is materialistic. It's because apart from the love and caring, you want to do something special for her. It does look materialistic, but it's not.

Romantically yours
I have not been romantic in a long time but for me, the best way to be romantic is to be genuine, faithful and be there for her. Also, being chivalrous is important. Small things like opening the door for the lady make her feel good. You must have your etiquettes in place. When you are out on a date with a woman, listen to her instead of just yapping.

A friendly journey
I am very close to my friends. I don't find maintaining different groups of friends too difficult. I like being very genuine with everyone; I like to call a spade a spade. So, if I don't like you, I will not say it on your face, but I will not fool you.

In fact, I tend to be respectful towards everyone. So, even if you have done bad to me, I will still try and be nice to you. There are times when my family didn't approve of some of my friends.

This is because in India, we have a tendency to impose our thoughts on others. That's not good. It's every person's own journey and own learning.
