In his latest interview, the actor tries hard to dispel the Casanova image which he claims is contrary to his real life ideology.
"The kind of roles I have done perhaps make me look like the kind of person who believes in one-night stands but I am just the opposite. I think the longer you know a woman, greater is the emotional bonding that you have," he points out.
Virginity is not such a big issue with Haashmi either.
"I don't see premarital sex as anything wrong. At least I won't be bothered if I have a wife who's not a virgin. I was involved with a married woman so I am myself not a virgin," he asserts.
But the biggest surprise of the chit-chit remains Haasmi's aversion for the onscreen smooches.
According to him: "For me a smooch on screen is not something erotic, it requires the actors to strive for near-perfection because it's difficult to concentrate during such scenes. Whenever I have to kiss, there's just one thing on my mind - how technically perfect the shot will be and how good the performance will look."
