Rumours are that Govinda has opted out of Salman Khan's upcoming co-production that will mark the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty

While he has already begun work on two other projects to make his Bollywood comeback, this upcoming film was to see him join hands with Salman Khan once again.

But after recent buzz about the actor reprising the role played by the late Sanjeev Kumar in Subhash Ghai's Hero, Govinda denies even signing its remake that will mark the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.

Though there has been no official word from Salman on Govinda's alleged inclusion or subsequent exclusion, rumours suggest that the actor was facing date problems and was also not keen to play the role earmarked for him.

Says Govinda, `I haven't signed the film. I have not even met them so there is no question of signing or date problems. Let me meet them first.`
