On her recent trip to the US, Sophie clinched a project with an American music band

Singer-actress Sophie can't believe her luck how her short trip to New York ended up minting a business proposal for her.

A chance encounter with the American music band Vishno in Bahrain a couple of years ago got her to collaborate with them when she paid a visit to the US recently.

Sophie will be shooting for the music video next month and the track has already been recorded. She says, `Before I left for the US, the lead singer Vi asked me to collaborate on the song.


We met each other through the King of Bahrain's younger son, Sheikh Abdullah, who is a huge music lover. We met up in New York and he came to me with nothing but a beat. We sat in the studio and I wrote some Punjabi and English lyrics and composed a melody to sing.`
