Ravi, who has been part of Hindi movies like "Agent Vinod", "Dangerous Ishq", "Zila Ghaziabad" and "Bajatey Raho", will wear a woman's attire for a scene in Tigmanshu Dhulia's directorial.
"I have never done something like this before and I would give all the credit to Tissu bhai (Tigmanshu) for this. He makes it so easy for an actor... thanks to his sheer clarity," Ravi said in a statement.
"I liked taking up the challenge and I hope the audiences will love my new ardhanarishwar (half male and half woman) avatar in 'Bullett Raja'," he added.
Ravi will be seen in a green and pink choli along with a lot of jewellery, including bangles, earrings and necklace.
The movie stars Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. It will hit theatres Nov 29.
