Biggies out, young talent for new Bollywood movies?

Bollywood will be witnessing many newcomers next year in at least 15 movies announced by biggest Bollywood producers.

Youngsters, Tiger son of Jackie shroff debuts Saji Nadiadwala's Heropanthi, Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia will be starring in Highway and 2 states will be done by Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor. It is a Karan Johar co-production. Nadiadwala will be supporting four such movies with fresh entrants.

Producer Aditya Chopra too has declared five such biggies, Gunday with Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, Bewakoofian with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonam Kapoor, Kill Dill staring Ranveer and Parineeti, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy with Sushant Singh Rajput.

Trade analyst Vikas Mohan says that all the big stars are above 45 years of age and they demand hefty amounts. But, we need to nurture the younger lot for the future of the industry.


Kjo's company is roping in youngsters like Varun Dhawan and Alia for its Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti will appear in Hasee Toh Phasee. Ronnie Screwvala too has multiple films such as Ranbir's Jagga Jasoos and Fitoor with Sushant Singh Rajput on his hands.

Taran Adarsh, another trade expert says that since big names do a few films in a year, there is no option left but to promote new talent.
