The films on the platter next week are "Dus", a Anubhav Sinha film with a string of stars like Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Zayed Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Esha Deol, Dia Mirza and Raima Sen but lack of enough publicity.
This will be Abhishek's second consecutive release in as many weeks.
The other release is "Fareb" by actor-turned-director Deepak Tijori and starring Shilpa Shetty, Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty. For connoisseurs of cinema, "Matrubhoomi" that has won several accolades overseas will be a must-watch.
Among the biggies that are slated for a July release is comic caper "Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya" starring superstar Salman Khan. Many hopes are linked to the David Dhawan film that stars Salman's real-life brother Sohail Khan, friend and confidante Sushmita Sen and lady love Katrina Kaif. It also features Isha Koppikar and Arshad Warsi.
A significant July release will be the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer "Viruddh" that has been produced by the legendary star's own production company. The film by director Mahesh Manjrekar casts Amitabh opposite Sharmila Tagore, who is much in the news for all the wrong reasons. John Abraham and Sanjay Dutt are the other major attractions in the film.
After a long gap, the latter will be seen in a romantic film -- "Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai Tumse" -- in the month ahead. Directed by Rishi Talwar, the film stars Sanjay, Chandrachur Singh and Shamita Shetty.
Another interesting film to look out for will be Victor Banerjee's "Ho Sakta Hai". Directed by Wilson Louis, it also stars Khalid, Mukesh Tiwari, Mohini and Dharmik.
Viewers are likely to be treated to yet another Amitabh-starrer before the end of July. "Dil Jo Bhi Kahey..." by director-producer Romesh Sharma is ready for release and might see the light of the day in the month ahead.
The film has Amitabh cast opposite the immensely talented Revathy. It also features Bhumika Chawla, Karan Sharma and Annabelle Wallis.
