After his bitter experience with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for his movie "Oops!" actor-director Deepak Tijori seems to have learnt his lessons well when
he says he has no axe to grind with the board.
Tijori had cried hoarse when the censor board had awarded an 'A' certificate and snipped many a scenes of his directorial debut which highlighted the life of male gigolos in
India's party circuit.
But Tijori has come around.
Talking about the 'A' certificate awarded to his forthcoming film "Fareb", he says: "They (CBFC) could not have possibly given me a 'U' certificate due to the sexual content in
the film, so they gave me an 'A' certificate and I have no complaints about it. I am happy that they at least spared me the cuts."
Tijori is upbeat about the film that stars Manoj Bajpai and the sister duo Shilpa and Shamita Shetty.
"Everything seems to be going right. The music has clicked with the masses.
And the chemistry between Manoj, Shilpa and Shamita seems to sizzle on screen. Manoj's performance will really be something to watch out for," says a beaming
Tijori.
"Fareb" releases on July 8, the same day as the multi-starrer "Dus".
