From model to sex symbol, Bipasha Basu's career graph now seems to be set for another leap with director Rituparno Ghosh zeroing in on the sultry Bengali actress for his next film.

Bipasha recently had a hush-hush meeting with Ghosh in which he confirmed her presence in his next film. She will reportedly play the female lead in the film opposite reigning Bengali superstar Prosenjit.

The film revolves around the life of a superstar who connects with his relatives after his father's death.

This yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Ideas, Prosenjit's production company.

Meanwhile, Ghosh has wrapped up the shooting for his black and white film "Dosar" which stars Prosenjit and Konkona SenSharma. The film revolves around extra-marital relationships and infidelity, Ghosh revealed.

Ghosh also has the Abhishek Bachchan-Soha Ali Khan-Raima Sen starrer "Antarmahal" lined up for release.

"Antarmahal" will reportedly be shown at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland next month.
