Nawazuddin Siddiqui's two films, Liar's Dice and The Lunchbox will be screened at the Sundance Film Festival in the US.

The festival will be held from January 16-26 in Park City, Utah. Liar's Dice has been selected in the competition category while The Lunchbox will be showcased in the non-competition category.

Malayalam actress Geetu Mohandas who marks her directorial debut with Liar's Dice says, `I am ecstatic about Sundance especially for my team who believed in this project despite shooting in difficult terrain on the Indo-Tibet border. Sundance is an added bonus in this Liars Dice experience.`

The film which also features Geetanjali Thapa and a child actor Manya Gupta. Alan McAlex who co-produced the film with Ajay G Rai was also associated with Peepli [Live]. Says Alan, `I was the line producer on Peepli [Live] which went to Sundance in the competition category in 2010 and it's great to be back this time as a producer of Liar's Dice.`

In 1981, actor-director Robert Redford gathered friends and colleagues in Utah to to foster independence discovery and new voices in American film. Over the years, the fest has gained global reverence.
