Amid dramatic twists and turns, TV reality show Bigg Boss' super aggressive contestant Armaan Kohli who was booked by Lonavala police on the charges of physically assaulting another co-contestant Sofia Hayat gets bail. Armaan has been released by police on bail of Rs.50,000 and two solvent sureties of like amount.

Armaan was arrested past night from the Bigg Boss house, under Sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman), 354(a) (sexual harassment), 294 (sing, recite or utter any obscene song or word) and 504 (intentional insult to provoke breach of peace) of the Indian Penal Code, on the basis of the complaint filed by eliminated co-contestant Sofia Hayat.


If reports are to be believed then soon after Armaan's arrest, this small time actor's father, Rajkumar Kohli, within no time jumped into disaster management excercise to get his son out of the mess.

After being arrested from the Bigg Boss house located in Lonavala, Armaan, was taken to Lonavala police station for questioning before producing him before the court.


Ever-since the beginning of 7th season of this controversial reality show, Armaan has time and time again made it to news headlines for his misconduct with the housemates. But the major blow reached up-to the chin of this small time actor, when he locked horns with British model-actress Sofia Hayat and hit her with a mop during a task.

Although subsequently, Sofia got evicted from the house, but with no time after leaving the house, Sofia approached cops and filed a criminal complaint against, Armaan at the Santa Cruz police station in Mumbai on Dec 11.
