Deepika Padukone threw a bash to celebrate the success of her three movies in a row and almost the entire industry turned up at a hotel in Worli on Saturday night.


The actress made a smashing entry in a stunning golden outfit and heels, as she let her hair down. Later, she kicked her heels and started walking around barefoot.

Deepika's good friend Ranveer Singh was one of the first guests to arrive and was at his usual crazy best.

In between dancing and jumping around, Ranveer told us that he got his shiny jacket -- going with the black and gold dress code -- specially designed for the party.


Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer, the 'Gunday' duo evidently share a close friendship as whenever Arjun was without company, he would rush to Ranveer or call out to him. The directors of Deepika's three successful films, Ayan Mukerji ('Yeh Jawaani Yeh Deewani'), Rohit Shetty ('Chennai Express') and Sanjay Leela Bhansali ('Ram-Leela') were present to take part in the celebrations.

Once the guests hit the dance floor, Shahid was seen impromptu getting into the mood and even teaching a step or two to Ranveer. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan gave the party a miss, as apparently Ash lost a close relative. Overall, it was a dashing party.
