The film heralds the dramatic comeback of yesteryears' lead actress Anita Raaj. Hundreds of invitees who managed to make it were treated to an unconventional muhurat of the film where hero Samir Kochhar posed as a sexy hair stylist against the backdrop of the Salon sets.
However, the centre of "distraction" at the launch was Page 3 siren Bhairavi Goswami who in keeping with her oomphy image had worn an outfit that would make even "dare-bare" babe Mallika Sherawat blush.
Ironically, co-star Rakhee Sawant who will be doing an item in the movie, had refrained from skin-show. Which is what apparently led to a "cold-war" between the two hot babes.
Groused Bhairavi, "Everyone else including Anitaji, Reshmi Ghosh and the rest of the cast who turned up were very pally but Rakhee seemed to ignore me and refused to be even introduced."
She adds, "Even while being clicked she stood away from me. Actually I found it very funny but I guess I need to learn how to handle all this with grace."
However, director Nabh Kumar defends his actress. He clarifies, "She must have been pre-occupied. Rakhee is so modest that she is doing the item number without any money."
Interestingly, Bombay Salon producer-actor Rakesh Barot plays a modern screen avatar of the legendary Marathi actor Dada Kondke in this movie and will be delivering the "double entendre" dialogues as well.
