"Driving India Forward" was organised by the Tata Group.
With Abraham - a speed buff, bike freak, and the current heartthrob of millions Rahul Bose - tough, rugged and a representative of India in international Rugby and Karthikeyan - suave, shy and the first Indian F1 driver, on the same platform, what else could the audience ask for!
Witty questions from host Gaurav Kapur, exciting anecdotes by India's top pacesetters, lucky draws and lots more excitement kept the adrenaline pumping high for over 100 F1 fans, which included kids, teenyboppers, working executives and senior citizens.
About making it big in Bollywood, Abraham said, "At the end of the day, you take all the credit. There's no pointing finger. Hard work is the short cut to success."
On a topic like rugby, Bose commented: "I like that sport because of the poetry in it. Some of my best friends are from that sport. Initially I wanted to be macho but got beaten up. I am an individualistic person but this taught me team spirit."
When asked what his philosophy of life was, Karthikeyan quipped: "Hard work, commitment, focus and consistent efforts directed towards achieving my goals and a good fitness regime, is what drives me. To make your own road, your own path and to never give up is my simple philosophy of life."
The three signed autographs, posed for pictures and picked two lucky winners of an SMS contest who are now entitled to a ticket each to watch the Shanghai Grand Prix Oct 16, 2005 in China.
