Filmmaker Subhash Ghai says his "Kaanchi", his `most laborious film", will hit the screens April 25.

`Finally, the shoot of my most laborious film 'Kaanchi' is over and all set to release April 25 and what's best is I'm excited about the film,` Ghai tweeted Thursday.

`First sound of music of 'Kaanchi' is gonna be in public tonight (Thursday) at Mirchi music awards with a music piece resounding 'Kaanchi re kaanchi re',` he further posted on Twitter.


Starring Kartik Tiwari and Mishti in the lead roles, the musical drama is a tale of a girl who dares to fight against corruption.
