Actress Jiah Khan's mother Rabia can go to any extent to prove that her 25-year-old daughter was murdered and that she did not commit suicide. Rabia has managed to do a sting operation on some witnesses and people close to Sooraj Panscholi and Jiah Khan that she will disclose at a press conference on Monday afternoon.
Rabia's lawyer Dinesh Tiwari said, "It has been scientifically done. We realised that only words will not help, we need proper evidences and the material we have collected is concrete."
Asked if Sooraj confessed being responsible for Jiah's death to one of his friends, Rabia said, "Yes." It is also learnt that Rabia has the audio recording of Sooraj's friend as well.
Rabia moved to Bombay High Court on Saturday challenging the chargesheet filed by the police on January 22 in which the police had ruled out the actress's mother contention that it was a murder. Rabia said, `The police have not supported the charges on Sooraj with any documents and statement of witnesses. We have recorded statements which are entirely different from what police wrote on witness's statement.`
Tiwari added, "We feel that police has supported the accused in this case."
Rabia also alleges that there is threat to her life. Tiwari said, "We have informed the commissioner of police about it." It may be recalled that Rabia and her lawyer were not happy with Juhu police chargesheet. They have also claimed that FBI has offered help in Jiah's death case as she was a US citizen and the family has also written to the US consulate.
Jiah Khan who made her Bollywood debut with 'Nishabd' was found hanging from a ceiling fan on June 3 last year.
Sooraj Panscholi was arrested on June 10 for abetment to suicide on the basis of six page letter written by Jiah Khan that was recovered from her bedside a couple of days after her death.
