David Dhawan has a special connection with Himachal Pradesh. He holds on to this superstition that whenever he directs a film that has a sequence in Shimla, especially at St Lawrence School it goes on to become a hit.


Among his films that Dhawan has shot in the hilly terrain include 'Aankhen', 'Shola aur Shabnam', 'Andaz' and 'Ek Aur Ek Gyrah'. His upcoming film, 'Main Tera Hero', has also been shot in Shimla.
