Actor-director Deepak Tijori says that being an actor who has worked in comedy films gives him an advantage to direct one.

Talking on the sets of his latest project which is his first hand at directing a comedy film ''Tom Dick Harry'', Deepak said he plans to release the film on the first week of January 2006.

''It is really a different kind of experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. I know what I want from my actors in comedy sequences'', He added.

The film which stars Dino Morea, Jimmy Shergill, Anuj, Celina Jaitly and Kim Sharma, is produced by Oracle Entertainment pvt ltd.

Deepak who is best remembered for his role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ''Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na'', said Dino plays the role of a deaf man, Jimmy is dumb and Anuj is blind.

Deepak said ''Tom Dick Harry'' is a comedy of errors with the female cast having equally important roles.

When asked about his new projects in the pipeline as director or actor, Deepak said, ''nothing as of now. I am just busy completing this film''.

He is currently filming a song sequence on the three male actors and Celina Jaitly in the city under the choreography of Remo.
