Hey, we aren`t implying that Jaggu dada is a historic figure of national significance, or anything to that extent. We`re just bringing to the fore another historic figures that will be brought to life again and expressed through cinema. And this time it is Jackie Shroff for a change and not Sunny Deol. The last patriotic movie he did was 1942 - A Love Right Story where his performance was the outstanding and much appreciated.
Wonder why he didn`t do more of such roles for so long. Probably he was waiting for the right time and what better time than this, when such period films seems to be ringing bells at the box-office. Jackie is trying to get the necessary permission from Bose`s family to proceed with the movie. As for our audiences, very soon history books will be extinct in schools, instead there will be historical movies in their curriculum.
