Well, the actress-turned-filmmaker is busy filming her forthcoming movie ‘Holiday' in Goa. The music of the film was recently released in Mumbai, and with a catchy sound track, it is expected to create ripples in Bollywood.
"The music of the film is not only for the youth, but for everybody. Good songs are timeless. Pooja allowed me to explore all the emotions that I had at my disposal," said Ranjit Barot, music director of the film.
The film boasts of a star cast like Dino Morea and debutante Muskan Suri in the lead role. Gulshan Grover, Kashmera Shah, Sanjit Bedi and Anahita Oberoi are the other star attractions.
It will also see a new face, Onjolee Nair, who plays the character of Muskaan. She is confident that the music will definitely click.
"The music is different. It suits the mood of the film and is relevant to every situation in the film. It's a mixed bag and you are not listening to a typical pop or a hip hop or bhangra. It is definitely a break away from all of that," says Onjolee.
The story of the film, written by veteran filmmaker and Pooja's father, Mahesh Bhatt, is of an ordinary girl who becomes extraordinary by simply following her heart and eventually learning to celebrate her ordinariness. It takes a turn when the lead characters reach Goa, and Dino, who plays a local Goan boy, gets embroiled in family matters.
The film has cinematography by Anshuman Mahale, choreography by Sandeep Soparkar, and dialogues by Niranjan Iyengar and Neelesh Misra. It is slated for release around Christmas.
