The film that is a love story, set against a political backdrop in UP, is slated to go on floor in September and has Richa Chadha and Rahul Bhatt so far finalised. While Richa is rumoured to be playing Paro, the search was on for Sudhir's Chandramukhi. While Sudhir was keen on Aditi to play Chandramukhi, and Aditi too, was keen to work once again with her mentor, we have now learnt that Aditi is not doing the role. And that is because Sudhir himself has told her that his current script does not do justice to her and has thus himself advised her against taking it up. Confirming this to us, Aditi says, "Yes, Sudhir sir and i were in conversation for a film on Devdas, where I was supposed to play Chandramukhi. However, the nature of his film has changed now and within the current setup, he feels that the part does not do justice to me. I would do a film with Sudhir Mishra in a heartbeat; after all, it's because of him that I am here."
Sudhir Mishra says, "I am very proud of Aditi. She is one of the most fantastic actresses of this generation with a lot of untapped potential. We are not working together on my current film. Instead, I am working on something special for her that will bring out the best in her." We know that Sudhir is one of the most large-hearted mentors, who always will protect his proteges and think the best for them. We eagerly await Sudhir's announcement.
