The mahurat of the film was recently held recently in Mumbai.
Call it the star-son advantage or something else, some of the great personalities of the industry, including Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Ishaa Koppikar, Sohail Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor, had come to greet the yet-to-be star. Other Bollywood stars like Lara Dutta, Kelly Dorjee, Amisha Patel and Vikram Bhatt arrived late at the party.
"Mimoh has amazing personality and his father is one of the best actors we have in the country. Mimoh has got a nice face, amazing body and is very strong," said Salman Khan.
While congratulating Mimoh, Firoz Khan said, "I am proud of Mithun Chakraborty, because his son has chosen this career. It's a very proud moment for Mithun also. I wish him all the very best in life. He is a very good looking guy and will do well in films."
With his toned body and blonde streaks, Mimoh did look every bit a film star on the occasion. But when asked about the film, he refused to say much.
"Actually, I am not allowed to speak anything about the film but in one line I can say that it's a complete action film, very subdued romance, very nice comedy. It's a complete entertainer," Mimoh said.
Mithun described Mimoh as a complete package and said that his son is better than him.
"Bollywood is about the survival of the fittest. Actors who perform good, stay in the industry and the others gets eliminated. And as a father, I have tried my best to groom him but he has to fight his own battle," he said.
Initially, Mimoh was supposed to be launched in his home-production, to be directed by Deepak Sareen. But, later, it was decided to launch him in ‘He', a remake of the Telugu film ‘Athaanokkade'.
To prepare himself for Bollywood, Mimoh joined the west coast headquarters of the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and later Chennai's Rambo Rajkumar. Now, he is all set to take on the stunts in the movies.
Directed by Dhanraj, ‘He' featurs Mimoh opposite former child-artiste Hansika Motwani. Produced by G.V. Prasad, the music will be scored by the current sensation Himesh Reshammiya.
