The "Haseena Maan Jaayegi" star said that Salman is a "dear friend" and when the superstar approached him with the script, he was "not excited" about it. "I didn't like it. Later, Salman said he will make a few changes in the script and came to me again with it, but again it didn't interest me. I thought it's a very arty film and I don't want to do an arty film at least with Salman Khan," Govinda told reporters in a group interview.
Talking about his bonding with Salman, he said: "We had a great time shooting together for 'Partner'. He is a very dear friend. We are almost the same".
