During the shooting of a tumultuous sequence last week for a Telugu film, actress Seema Biswas fell and broke her wrist in four or five different places.

The mutiple injury is expected to keep the actress out of work for at least a couple of months.

In fact Seema, collecting rave reviews the worldover for her performance in Deepa Mehta's Water was meant to accompany Deepa Mehta to Karachi for the screening of the film. She had to backtrack because of the setback.

Seema seems to be doing sparse work. After her triumphant performance in Water she's immersed in Sooraj Barjatya's Vivah.

According to at least two of the most prominent filmmakers Sooraj Barjatya and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Seema Biswas is one of the finest actors of the country.

So what's holding her back?
