"As much as I deserve to speak about Paul, he was gentle and funny and a great performer," Fazal, who is also a part of "Furious 7" cast, said in a statement. "Vin Diesel and him kept cracking up in the scene because I had turned the entire character around and it was kind of funny, but honestly I have never seen so much love on set ever. The team is truly a family. 'The Fast Family'," he added.
While shooting on the sets, Fazal did not miss a chance to click a selfie with Walker.
Walker had been the face of "The Fast and Furious" series since the beginning of the series until his untimely death last year. The series includes movies like "The Fast and the Furious"(2001), "2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003) and "Fast and Furious" (2009).
This month's end will mark a year since Walker died.
