Anandpal Singh Gurnam Singh Jabbal had filed a case against the rapper alleging that he uploads obscene songs on networking sites. When no cognizance of his FIR was taken, he moved the CP with same contentions. But he too allegedly failed to initiate any action prompting Jabbal to file a case before the judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) under section 156 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC).
Former department of cooperatives officer Yashwant Bagde, who conducted an inquiry into Rs150 crore scam of Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank (NDCCB) scam, informed the high court that he had handed over entire records to the bank management. He also informed that he was yet to get remuneration of his work after which the court adjourned hearing till Friday.
Surendra Kharbade, the lawyer who was appointed as inquiry officer by the Maharashtra government to probe the scam, had moved an application before court contending that Bagde was "adamant" and was not heeding to requests since long for providing inquiry records. Based on Bagde's report, the department of cooperatives had directed former chairman Sunil Kedar, a NCP MLA then, to cough up around Rs299 crore for the loss caused due to the scam. This was one of the biggest cooperative scandals of the country involving top politicians.
