The stars of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum attended the launch of the film`s official book recently in Mumbai.Karan Johar has stated that he may also travel to the likes of the UK and US with a few of the stars to promote the book there too.

Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the father in K3G, was all smiles at the launch. He told press "My association with the Johar`s dates as far back as `Dostana` and `Agnipath` and now it`s `Kabhi Khaushi Kabhie Gham...,` a film that I am proud to be a part of. This is the first time that I`ve come to a press conference with make-up on - Just goes to show the dedication and perfection with which Karan works. I`ve seen him grow in front of me and it was a pleasure having him as director".

Then he jokingly told the audience "But for one thing I`ve got to clear my image that`s quite in jeopardy. I dunno if I am permitted to say this, but in the film, I throw Shah Rukh out of my house, I speak rudely to my wife, I whack Hrithik Roshan on the face and I never speak to Kareena. But that part of me is just a movie."
