Sony SAB’s Yaadein is currently exploring a completely new world as Dr Dev Mehta (Iqbal Khan) moves to Killari village for community service. While the new setting has brought a fresh flavour to the show, the sets have also welcomed some adorable little visitors who have quickly become favourites among the cast and crew.

A few playful puppies recently made an unexpected appearance on set and managed to steal everyone’s attention. What started as a few curious little visitors wandering around the set soon became one of the most cheerful parts of the shooting day. Between takes, the puppies can be seen happily running around, playing with the cast and crew and stopping by anyone willing to give them some attention. Gulki Joshi and Iqbal Khan in particular, have found it hard to resist spending a few extra minutes with their furry friends, often taking a quick break from their scenes for some much-needed puppy cuddles.

Gulki Joshi who essays Dr Srishty, shares, “The funniest thing is that the moment the puppies come on set, we all forget what we were doing for a few minutes. I often end up cuddling and playing with them for a bit between the scenes. They are so curious and will happily follow you around or sit near you while you are rehearsing. It is such a small thing, but these little breaks have become some of my favourite moments during the shoot. They have definitely made the Killari schedu

le a lot more fun.”

Iqbal Khan who essays Dr Dev Mehta, adds, “These puppies have become quite clever because they seem to know exactly when we have a break! The moment we finish a scene, they somehow appear and everyone starts calling them over. Sometimes they will just sit quietly next to us while we are discussing a scene and suddenly the whole conversation is interrupted because everyone wants to spend a little time with them. It is completely unplanned, but these little moments have become a very nice part of our days on set.”
