On October 5th, Akshay Kumar unveiled the teaser of his upcoming spy-thriller film, 'Bell Bottom' based on the storyline of plane hijacks that rocked the world back in the 1980s. Although recently, the actor shared a video on social media while breaking his silence over the drug consumption in Bollywood and the anonymous death of the late Sushant Singh Rajput. But it seems like his video did not sit well with the netizens and slammed the actor for raising his voice so late. Along with trolling, #BanLaxmmiBomb was also started trending on the micro-blogging site and it was stated that his step of speaking on the ongoing controversies wasn't the right time as his film 'Laxmmi Bomb' is all set to release on November 9th, 2020 and he also has released the teaser of Bell Bottom.

But ignoring everything, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share the news that the 'Bell Bottom' teaser has been watched by 25 million people within 24 hours on the social media platforms. The actor tweeted, "Aapka Pyaar Sar Aankhon Par! Grateful for your love and support #BellbottomTeaser have you watched it yet?" Check out his tweet here -



Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, 'Bellbottom' is being co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. Along with Akshay Kumar, the film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles. The film was announced in the year 2019 and is slated for release on April 2nd, 2021.
