Marriages are made in heaven but they are held right here on earth, so there's no way to keep it a secret, Anyway, a
shaadi is supposed to be a happy occasion, so you'd think people would gladly announce their decision to get
hitched. Unfortunately, industry folk don't believe in talking about their big day.
For the last few weeks, the film industry is abuzz with the news of Mission Istaanbul director Apoorva Lakhia finally
settling down. Close acquaintances have already started sending him congratulatory messages.
Things got serious
An insider spills the beans, "Apu was in the US a while back. He met someone there. She's from Pakistan but is
based in the US. They hit it off instantly. As things got serious, Apu decided to propose and the girl accepted. And
now that his bachelor days are on the wane, close friends have been ribbing him about it."
Apoorva had a terse response: "Total bulls**t! It's a rumour started by someone."
