"Mera Ravana Se Koi Lena Dena Nahi, But Yash Bhai Kya Lag Rahe Hain"
Clarifying that he is an ardent devotee of Lord Ram, Honey Singh spoke candidly about watching early teaser footage of the mega-budget spectacle:
"Yash bhai hai Bengaluru se hamare. Ravana bane hain. Sach kahun doston, maine Ramayana ka teaser dekha hai. Main Shri Ram ka bahut bada bhakt hoon. Mera Ravana se koi lena-dena nahi hai. But Yash bhai kya lag rahe hain. Mere opinion mein, Ranbir bhai se zyada achhe mujhe Yash bhai lage (Yash is our brother from Bengaluru, and he is playing Ravana. Honestly, friends, I have seen the Ramayana teaser. I am a huge devotee of Lord Ram, so I have no personal connection to Ravana. But Yash looks absolutely incredible. In my opinion, I find him even better than Ranbir)."

Nostalgia & Plea for Purity: "Don't Tamper with Childhood Emotions"
Beyond praising the visuals, the 43-year-old singer shared an emotional reflection on his upbringing in Delhi, urging producer Namit Malhotra and director Nitesh Tiwari to preserve the sacred simplicity and purity of the epic:
Childhood Ramleela Memories: "I hope the movie turns out really well and doesn't hurt anyone's sentiments. Jaisi hum bachpan se Ramayana dekhte aaye hain, jo hum Delhi mein aur Karampura mein Ramleela dekhte aaye hain, jitni pure thi hamare liye, waisi hi rahe. Koi chhed-chhad na ho, kyunki emotions hain bachpan ke (I hope it stays as pure as the Ramayana we've watched since childhood—and the Ramleela we grew up watching in Delhi and Karampura—without any tampering. After all, these are childhood emotions)," he added.
Trade Verdict:
With Yash actively co-producing the project and lending his magnetic baritone and physical presence to Ravana, early trade and industry reactions suggest that the dynamic clash between Ranbir Kapoor’s serene Lord Ram and Yash’s formidable antagonist will serve as the ultimate theatrical hook when Part 1 arrives on November 6, 2026.
