Farhan Akhtar, who has been shooting in Shillong for the sequel of his 2008 film "Rock On!!", surprised everyone by performing an impromptu gig at a club here.

Though Farhan had lots of jamming in Shillong, he was missing playing music for an actual live audience and decided to go to a popular club here and played songs for the live audience.

"Music is a huge passion for Farhan and it helps him rejuvenate. He really enjoyed himself and the audience was in for a pleasant surprise," Farhan's spokesperson said in a statement.

The 'Dil Dhadakne Do' actor started playing the guitar and sang songs from his earlier films 'Rock On!!' and "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. He also played some international artists' songs.

Needless to say, his surprise act left fans in frenzy and the 'Rock On' star took to Twitter to express his joy.
