Co-produced by Saregama Films Ltd. and Rapture Productions Inc, a New York based production company owned by David Roma and Drena De Niro, KCH stars Sushmits Sen and Randeep Hooda, once a real life couple, in the lead role.
The film is almost complete and the promotional material has already hit the marquee but the stars, especially Randeep, are not very happy with the production house' over enthusiasctic efforts.
Hooda, in fact, is quite miffed with a picture showing him in a lip-lock with Sushmita Sen.
"The kiss is part of the film and I'm not the least embarrassed about kissing such a gorgeous woman on screen. But it reeks of desperation. By flashing just one scene they're just being cheap and undignified in their promotion," he fumes.
Earlier a similar lip-lock between Sushmita and Anuj Sawhney had grabbed headlines when Sush refused to promote the film.
Suhmita, though wants to reserve her comments on the latest promotion controversy, has all the good things to say about Randeep.
"I'd never regret dating Randeep," she exults.
"There is a childishness in Randeep that I loved. He always kept me on my toes. But then we grow out of relationships because we need different things in life. There is a certain impatience in him which is beautiful, but if I start imbibing that impatience, I'd be in trouble."
Ask anything about ad-filmmaker Manav Menon, the new man in her life, and she retorts, "I don't want to comment on our relationship. I met him the first time during the shoot of an ad-film. Later on we interacted some more, and that's how our friendship grew."
