Reveals Bappi-da, "It's a song written by Deepa Sneha that I composed in the memory of Mumbai's bomb blast victims. It's called Unhein Salaam Hamara Salaam.
Alka Yagnik, Shaan, and I, plus all the finalists on Little Champs have got together to sing this song. We'll be heard singing it on the show this Friday. The children bring a truly emotional touch to the number."
Bappi who has of late got into a renewed limelight is very happy with his job as a judge on Little Champs. "Children are the reflections of God. And to hear these kids sing so well is a heartwarming experience."
Bappi is also thrilled by his duet with Whitney Houston. "Only Whitney needs to finalize my tune. And then I fly down to LA to record with her. While she'll be singing the pop I'll be doing some raga and other things.
I've also done an entirely new kind of music in my forthcoming film Jhoom for B. Subhash productions. My endeavour is to do something new and exciting each time."
Bappi-da is also looking forward to the song that A.R Rahman recorded in Bappi's voice for Guru.
"I've been a fan of Rahman for years now. And to sing a song written by Gulzar Saab was a dream come true.
I've composed lyrics by every major poet including Javed Akhtar who wrote for me in Sailaab. But never Gulzar Saab. The song in Guru is so catchy and yet so unusual, it'll shake the charts."
