The Maahi Ve singer was seen in this week's Indian Idol Season 9 episode where the contestants paid a tribute to her by singing her songs. Basically it was an episode dedicated to the singer which was high on musical richness & some of her hit songs like Dil Jude Bina Hi Tut, Sajda, Baghban (Title Song) & many more "I am truly honored. The moment she walked in, she bought a different aura with her. Heads turned when Richa Sharma stepped on the stage of Indian Idol. Every single person including Farah Khan, Sonu Nigam & Anu Malik were on their feet, clapping, cheering and chanting her name. This was the magic of Richa Sharma.

The judges couldn't stop gushing about their professional & personal relationship with her & their lengths about her & her talent.

The contestants displayed their singing prowess and seemed overwhelmed with Richa Sharma's presence. She even performed with some of them & set the Mahol on the stage. To everyone's surprise, she was so impressed that she was seen given standing ovation to most of them & praising them for their rhythm & voice "These singers took me back to the era of R.D Burman, Laxmikant Pyarelal. It was that time when singers were soulful & then we have these singers who have the talent transport the listeners to a different era. It is my honor that I got to be a part of such a platform"
