Ever since the announcement of Tubelight, there are rumors that it's a remake of Hollywood film 'Little Boy' and after the release of its first official teaser the rumors are rifer.

Amidst all the speculations director Kabir Khan has come forward and has reportedly confirmed, that 'Tubelight' is actual an official remake of 'Little Boy'. But it is just the idea otherwise the Hindi version is completely different.

Little Boy is said to be the story of an oddball Pepper who sets out on a journey to find his father who has gone to war, but in the process ends up teaching the lesson of humanity to everyone around. In the Hindi version, Salman Khan plays a similar character played by Pepper and the film is set in the backdrop of the Sino-Indian war of 1962.

Tubelight also marks the debut of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and is slated to release on June 25, marking the occasion of Eid.
