Later on, Karan worked in TV shows like Saaya and Dishayen, where he played quite prominent roles. But his life took a turn when Raghav Oberoi, his character in the popular drama Jassi Jaisi Koi nahi, became a household face.
Having a keen interest in music, Karan went on to form India's first all-male band under the name 'Band of Boys'. The indie pop boy band gave out some mesmerizing pieces of music which turned out to be great hits. After working on few albums, Karan enthralled his fans with singles like 'Challa', 'Raat Kaali', and 'Chaudhvin ka Chand', which are in fact part of his new album 'Retronica'.
