The union Minority Affairs Ministry has sought details from the Ajmer Dargah committee regarding the show
cause notices served to Bollywood star Katrina Kaif and others for filming a scene for a movie allegedly
without permission.
Katrina had worn a short skirt during the shoot of the film "Namaste London" on November 11, drawing the
ire of a section of servers and management at the dargah.
The working nazim of dargah committee said told today that the Minority Affairs department has asked the
committee to give details of the incident.
The President of committee also discussed the progress relating to the showcase notices served to Kaif
and others in this regard, Nazim said.
The committee has costituted a committee headed by its Vice President whose report is awaited, Nazim
added.
The management of the shrine of sufi saint Khwaja Moinudeen Chisti here has served the show cause
notices to Kaif and others for filming there a scene of the movie "Namaste London" without its
permission.
Those who were served the notices were besides Katrina, Rishi Kapoor, director Vipul Shah and agent
Babubhai Ghosi. They were asked to send their replies within 15 days after receiving the notice.
