In this fast paced generation where almost everything is digitalized, web series and movies curated by digital platforms have geared up to take over the traditional silver screen. Many A-listers have stepped into challenging and ambitious digital projects which gained both critical and audience appreciation.

Annie Sekhon is the latest entrant in the digital league. After signing a Bollywood project she is all set to play the role of a protagonist in an upcoming web series. Though a web series is relatively an untouched zone for her, she has been known to play prominent and offbeat roles in many Punjabi movies and daily soaps. Recently she was seen in 'Punjab Singh' which was a massive hit and also television shows like 'Parvarish' and 'Yaha ke hum sikander.'

The web series is a thriller where Annie is playing a multi-faceted main lead. Sources have revealed that the shoot will go on floor by January 2019 in the outskirts of Mumbai, majorly Lonavala, Mahabaleshwar, where other cast members will join along.

We tried to reach both Annie and the digital giant for a comment but they remained tight lipped about it. They want to keep this project under wraps for creating buzz among the audience. Looks like we have to wait until either of them shed some light on this mystery project.
