Endemol, the producers of Bigg Boss, selected 24 years old Abhijatha Umesh aka Ragini as an unknown face to add intrigue to their show. Finally she was eliminated this week from the house of Bigg Boss.

But not many people know that her mom played a great role in her exit. She and her other family members sent almost 50,000 votes to get her evicted.

According to sources, Ragini was going thorugh hell in the house and on learning her daughters' condition, her mother decided to get her out of the house.

Prior to her Bigg boss days, Abhijatha was into writing scripts and wanted to make a film. She has also done modelling.

Interestingly, she has also worked as an assistant director for serials like Kyun Hota Hai Pyar (Star Plus) and Hotel Kingston (Star One). Kyun Hota... had her Bigg Boss co-contestant Amit Sadh as the actor!
