The film revolves around a blind pianist (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) who must report a murder that he witnessed. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, this film went on to break barriers in the film industry being an art film which was also received commercially well. The film which received a thumbs up from critics as well as fans not only crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in India in no time, but also did fabulous business in China.
Ayushmann Khurrana, who has a great track record with films like Badhaai Ho, Bareilly Ki Barfi, amongst many others, hit another career-high with Andhadhun. The actor is packed with super films which are about to come and he is juggling between the shoots.
His latest venture is 'Dreamgirl' with Ekta Kapoor and her production house Balaji Telefilms. The poster has the star looking quirky in a cotton saree and sitting on a rickshaw. It's directed by Raaj Shandilya, produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Ashish Singh. Dreamgirl is all set to release on 19 September 2019.
