Actress Shraddha Kapoor who has just enthralled the audience with her massive hit Saaho has done her best bit for the environment, today morning.

Fame means nothing when one doesn't use it for the betterment of the society, and Shraddha Kapoor lived up to this idiom by joining protestors rallying to save 2700+ trees, which are in danger of being chopped down in Mumbai's Aarey Colony region.

The trees could soon be felled to make way for Mumbai's Metro extension, which has got the indigenous, environmentally conscious populace up in arms.

Shraddha backing the cause is certain to lend massive weight to this burning issue and today morning was a testimony to how the actress has totally carried the baton to raise the alarm for the nature. Shraddha has time and again, lent her voice to some of the most pertinent issues of our times and surely, feels is a proud voice for many.
