Well, we can't believe but, it has been 21 years since Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Kajol's blockbuster romantic film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was released. The film was released on this very day in 1998 and it shattered all the box office records at that time.
'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was Karan Johar's first debut film as a director and the interesting thing is that due to his and Shahrukh Khan's close friendship, Shahrukh had signed the film without even reading the script for 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and the rest is history.

The film had grossed over 100 crores worldwide at that time and became one of Bollywood's highest-grossing films. Today, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is counted among the cult classic films of Bollywood. You will be surprised to know that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was nominated for 17 Filmfare Awards and out that won 8 Filmfare Awards. It is the only Bollywood film till date to have won four major acting awards, namely Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and The Best Supporting actors.
