Recently while shooting for her show, 'Lucky', Mrinal Deshraj had a blinding accident!

In Vadodara, when she was shooting for the serial in which she has this reptilian (of a naagin) role, a light stand apparently fell on her and hit her in the eye.

Mrinal was pretty shocked and didn't know what had struck her, but she was convinced that she had turned blind for life. It seems the light stand hit her hard, and her lenses fell off causing her unbearable pain. She broke down and started wailing. Her eyes remained swollen for days.

This was a sad experience for Mrinal Deshraj and it was worse for her that it happened on her first outdoor shoot. Another first is also the kind of unusual character (of a 'naagin') she is doing. Everyone hopes that after she gets over the chock, all will be well. - SAMPURN
