On the other side, Salman Khan's 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' was supposed to hit the theatres this year but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it couldn't be possible and according to the buzz, the film is set to release directly next year on Eid. Although Radhe's makers haven't announced anything yet on this matter. But if it will be true then there will surely be a face-off between John Abraham and Salman Khan.
On the box-office clash with another film on Eid, Milap Zaveri said, `Satyameva Jayate 2 will 100% be released on Eid, irrespective of whichever other film releases on the same day. In the event of a clash happening on Eid, I hope the other film also does well and so does our film.` He also added, "By next Eid, I expect cinemas to be packed and fully operational. And our attempt is to release the film in cinemas. That's why we have specifically mentioned 'in cinemas' on our posters as well. And of course, as I said, we will not move for any other film.`
Well, John Abraham's films have a record of box-office clash with other films as his 'Satyameva Jayate' (2018) was released alongside Akshay Kumar's sports flickGold on Independence Day. A year later, on Independence Day 2019, John and Akshay had clashed again, with Batla House and Mission Mangal respectively. Although, all the films managed to perform well at the box office.
