Raaj Shaandilyaa, the 'Dream Girl' director is turning producer! One of the leading writers of the entertainment industry who marked his directorial debut in Bollywood with 'Dream Girl' will soon be launching his production company 'ThinkInk Picturez' in partnership with Kolkata-based businessman Vimal K Lahoti.

Raaj, the record holder for having written 625 scripts wants to create stories to influence people of every age in a positive way through his banner. A leading portal revealed that the filmmaker has already started working on his first production and has approached 'Dream Girl' actress Nushrratt Bharuccha to play the lead in his first project as a producer. Nusharrat has also shown interest in the film but is yet to sign the film officially.

"Raaj Shaandilya is working on a range of concepts for his production company and the first one that he has okayed is a female-led slice-of-life drama, titled Little Umbrella. Mary Kom (2014) and Sarbjit (2016) fame Omung Kumar will be directing this realistic film with a social message. Shaandilyaa has approached Nushrratt and she has also shown her interest in Raaj and Omung's combination but is yet to sign on the dotted line. She is said to be waiting for the script before giving her final nod," a media source revealed.

Talking about Nushrratt's other lined-up projects, she will be seen playing the role of a pregnant woman in Vishal Furia's next horror drama, Chhori that is about a tale of terror that addresses social evils. Bharruccha will start Raaj Shaandilyaa's 'Little Umbrella' after her horror drama.
