Aamir Khan has earned a significant place in Bollywood with his spectacular performances over the years. Now Aamir's son Junaid is all set to enter into Bollywood with his first film under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF). Junaid will be making his debut in YRF's historical drama directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.

The film is said to be based on a true event and will see Junaid playing a whistle-blower who exposes a Godman. Vipul Mehta and Sneha Desai have written the script of this film for Malhotra who is famous for directing Rani Mukherji in Hichki for YRF. Sharvari Wagh, who is making her big-screen debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2, will play the female lead opposite Junaid in the film.

The film is untitled yet and is said to be based on an 1862 libel case in which Jadunathji Brijratanji Maharaj, a religious leader, filed a case against a reformer and journalist Karsandas Mulji for writing a libelous article in his Gujarati newspaper. In the article, he questioned the values of a Hindu sect called the Pushtimarg or Vallabhacharya Sampradaya. In particular, were accusations that Jadunathji had sexual liaisons with women followers and that men were expected to show their devotion by offering their wives for sex with the religious leader. The article created a great agitation among worshippers of the religious head.

Junaid has been polishing his theatre skills for many years and now is finally ready to portray them on the big screen. Reportedly, Junaid was set to make his bollywood debut with the Hollywood film 'Forest Gump' remake but his father Aamir Khan got his hand into the film which is now titled as 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.

Well, fans are very excited to see Junaid on the silver screen for the first time.
