Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has collaborated with Ranveer Singh for the third time after releasing the hit film 'Simmba' with the actor. Rohit and Ranveer are pairing up for an upcoming film 'Cirkus' which is a remake of the 1982 film 'Angoor'. And guess what, the film has kick-started the shoot in Mumbai. A Hindi film journalist revealed the news with the picture of a clapperboard.


Reportedly, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a double role in the film. Talking about the story, it will be kept around two twin humans. There will be an effort to generate a lot of comedy through that concept. The makers are describing it as the biggest comedy film in Bollywood. Apart from Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Siddharth Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirji, Vijay Shankar, Sulabha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari and Murali Sharma will star in Rohit Shetty's cirkus.

As per reports, Shetty has done a lot of work on this film during the lockdown. Apart from this film, Ranveer will be seen in a cameo role in Sooryavanshi that features Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Apart from this, Ranveer Singh will also feature in Kabir Khan's biographical film '83' that was scheduled to release in April, but due to the lockdown, the film is now likely to be released in December. Ranveer's second film 'Jayeshbhai Jordan' is all set to rock the big screens very soon. The film is now expected to be released next year.
